Yo! For those people who are not in school for the past few days, we are going to have a Science Test on Monday 23/8/2009. Topic is the 1st Chapter of Systems.Pls do revise. And the topic we are at in Science is currently on the "electrical system" A common ask question, why is Electrical a system? isn't a system is something that are many parts to work together and made a system? As the question ask on question 2, for electrical system, has many parts too. And the parts are: Switches, Wires, Bulbs and Batteries. Some questions for you. Pls leave a comment. a)What is the other name of batteries? b)What is the "metal filament" of a bulb made of? c)If you want a bulb to light up, do you need a Closed circuit or a Open circuit? d)Which gas does a bulb contains? e)Does a bulb contains carbon dioxide? f)Does a bulb contains oxygen? g)Explain your answer in (e) h)Explain your answer in (f) ********************************************* Who is the inventor(s) of the light bulb? =================================== When the question is ask, who invented light bulb, Joseph Swan and Thomas Edison are usually given the credit. However, both of these men worked off, of previous inventions. Historians estimate that over twenty inventors worked toward the creation and design of the light bulb. Of these, Edison experiment is the most sucessful one. ***************************************************** Tis is almost what we learnt in Science.
